"Portes du Soleil" is a network of 14 alps resorts in France and Switzerland. It includes the following resorts:

• In France: Morzine, Avoriaz, Chatel, la Chapelle d'Abondance


• In Switzerland: Les Crozets, Champéry, Morgins, Champoussin.

From the end of June to the begging of September, the ski lifts are open to mountain bikes so you can ride mainly downhill from one resort to the other. There is more than 300Km of marked trails to follow and even a famous loop trail running through all the resorts. Many MTB events happen here during summer, such as the Free Raid Classic

Good riding skills are required even with the lifts as trails are quite technical.

Permanent downhill tracks are set in Morzine and Chatel and of course you need a downhill bike to enjoy them.

The Lift pass for all the domain will cost you 16€ a day or 54€ for six days.
